This EAL accredited course is designed for individuals where the candidate requires an advanced knowledge and understanding of operating both High and Low Voltage equipment.

This EAL accredited course is designed for individuals where the candidate requires access or to work in the proximity of High Voltage Electrical Equipment. Over 80% of all disruptive failures in HV substations can be traced back to partial discharge (PD). This course teaches the principles of PD and how to monitor it.

This EAL accredited course is designed for individuals where the candidate requires a refresher training on the operation of both HIgn and Low Voltage equipment. The individuals should already have had previous experience of working in a high voltage substation and a knowledge of working on High Voltage Electrical Equipment. 

The aim of this unit is to enable the candidate to demonstrate that they are conversant with the IEE Wiring Regulations BS 7671:2018.

The EAL courses are intended for personnel in electrical contracting companies that have responsibility for the quality of the design specification, installation and inspection & testing processes. It addresses, in particular, the implications of the Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations.

A short award which covers the underpinning technical requirements for the installation of electric vehicle charging points. It follows the IET Code of Practice for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation and BS 7671.

It is intended for personnel in electrical contracting companies that have responsibility for maintenance of electrical equipment to comply with Electricity at Work Regulation (1989).
