Welcome to the OCU Academy Family, Shaun Spencer!
We are delighted to welcome Shaun Spencer to the OCU Academy team as a new trainer and assessor! Shaun brings a wealth of experience to the table, having been involved with HV switching operations since 2009.
Over the years, Shaun has honed his skills in various industrial settings, including power generation, steel production, and the cement industry. He's worked with a number of blue chip companies over the years. Shaun's impressive background isn't limited to the industrial world however, he also dedicates a remarkable 90 hours a week as a retained firefighter with the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, demonstrating his commitment to serving his community.
When Shaun isn't busy training the next generation of electrical wizards or saving the day as a firefighter,
you might find him spending quality time with his family. But Shaun also knows the importance of
unwinding, and enjoys hitting the golf course, exploring the underwater world through scuba diving, and cruising on his motorcycle. And of course, there is always time for a good rugby match!

Shaun has already shown his artistic flare by winning the “Draw a colleague competition” in last weeks Wellness Wednesday.
